In the medical field, DLP and SLA techniques, in which photosensitive materials are printed, are mainly used due to the extreme accuracy of the models and the completely smooth surfaces of the prints. There is also no shortage of examples using prints made from metals, especially titanium. Currently, the most widespread use of 3D printing is in dentistry – an increasing number of dentists are beginning to treat the 3D printer like any other tool in their work – making such precise models in such a short period of time is not possible with traditional methods so far used in this industry. In addition to dentistry, 3D printing is used in surgery, all kinds of reconstructive surgery or research, for example, based on cell multiplication. The 3D printing market offers numerous solutions and many materials dedicated to the medical industry
